Critics:
Ye Mantram Vesave is a Good Story let down. Further disappointing is that it has got a quality poor than most Youtube Short Films coming these days. No wonder, Vijay Deverakonda is a disappointed man.

Ragamalika (Shivani Singh) is a Video Game Designer who designs a game with realistic city hunt approach which sans violence. Nikhil (Vijay Deverakonda) is a Video Game Addict and online flirt who is after Ragamalika. She tries to play the game with him to find her address. The rest is all about the problems Nikhil face in the pursuit of finding her.

Vijay Deverakonda looks good even though the film is made several years ago. However, his role has no much scope for him to perform. Shivani Singh, the debut heroine performed well in the role but does not have the much-needed glamour. Rest of the cast is almost unrecognizable.

Ye Mantram Vesave has a good storyline which connects to the current generation youth. The director even managed to get a good screenplay. But call it inexperience or the budget constraint, he has failed to execute the script properly. The film starts slow but picks pace with the game and the climax again is disappointing. Good Budget and Professional Director would have done the trick for the movie.

The Technical Values of the movie are disappointing as we hinted earlier. The director Shridhar Marri did a good job with the story and screenplay but faltered in direction. Music by Abdus Samad and Camera work by Shiva Reddy are just okay. Dharmendra Kakarla's editing should have been better.

Finally, Ye Mantram Vesave is a Good Story let down. Further disappointing is that it has got a quality poor than most Youtube Short Films coming these days. No wonder, Vijay Deverakonda is a disappointed man.
