Radha Bharathy returns to Tamil cinema after a long gap with "Katrullavarai". Jai Akash plays the lead and Pranathi teams up with him once again after "Gurudeva".
The story focuses on the life of an actress and has all sort of commercial elements without any compromise. Utmost importance has been given to music. The film is a gripping story of an actress kidnapped by a few anti-socials with the hero stepping in to rescue her.
Jai Akash plays the role of a musician who aspires to be a great singer but has stammering problem while Pranathi plays the role of a heroine in the film. Suresh, the producer of the film enacts an important role. Madhupriya, a debutante, acts opposite him. Music director Bharani has scored music for six melodious numbers in the movie.
Vadivelu, Vijayakumar, R Sunderrajan, Venniraadai Moorthi, Delhi Ganesh, Ambika and Keerthana play the supporting cast and Kichchas cranks the camera. The movie is due to hit the theatres during the month of July.
