All said and done, this had all the right ingredients to be made into an epic war biopic, but we get black-and-white montages instead of elevating action scenes, only hinting at how there could’ve been budget issues to shoot the same.

An absolute superb biopic of one of our Life Time Hero. We'll done to Meghna Gulzar for capturing the essence of Sam Bahadur 's character & expressions and very well done to Vicky Kaushal for bringing out the best of Sam on screen. It would be impossible to cover all of his great works and deeds within the limits of one screentime but this film has covered enough to leave us in awe of our Great Protaginist ...there is plenty more info in the media to fill in the gaps and learn more if one is interested and how can one not be after watching this film. So a definite must watch !
