With its massive budget of Rs 500 crore, Adipurush could have truly been a spectacular cinematic experience. Sadly, that isn’t the case. Not everybody can pull off a Rajamouli, and that’s painfully obvious in Adipurush.

I love the ‘Ramayan’, with all its wondrous characters and twists and turns. It is amongst the greatest of all epics. Why reduce it to this two-dimensional barrage of little feeling?

Adipurush is a colossal mess as a product of visual storytelling. Once again, it's not just the bad VFX that taint the film, it's the lack of a strong, original vision. Ajay-Atul's inspiring score can only do so much to salvage the film.
