This is the enjoyable part of the film, Sharaf U Dheen and Anarkali Marikar making a warm entry. If only the rest of the film was made with the same sensitivity, Janaki Jaane would have been a pleasant two hours.

The issue with this film is that it has very old tools to develop that idea into a proper script, and the conflicts and solutions are too outdated to make us feel for that central character.
