Cheran plays the role of a hairdresser and Navya Nair is a beautician in a salon. Today's youth are the centre of the film's theme. Cheran promises that the film will be highly entertaining and also send out a strong message. Radha Ravi, who has taken a break for a while from acting, dons a role unusual for an actor like him. Actors Sarath Kumar, Arya, Malavika and Ranjitha make cameo appearances. The music is by Ilayaraja and the audio cassette and CD have registered a record sale in the State. Dwarakanath is the cinematographer and veteran producer Panchu Arunachalam's son, Subbu, produced the film.
