C.I.D. Moosa Malayalam Movie

Dileep plays Mulamkuziyil Sahadevan, son of a police constable (Oduvil Unnikrishnan), whose ambition is to become a police officer like his dad. But, Peethambaran (Jagathy Sreekumar) his brother-in-law does not like the idea and sees that Sahadevan does not clear his physical test. But one of his uncle advises Sahadevan to become a private detective and rechristens him as CID Moosa!

Now CID Moosa has Arjun, a smart dog from the dog squad to assist him. He also has a funky car that sprays chilli powder or throws marbles on those who follow the car! Soon Moosa comes to know that the Kerala Chief Minister's (Murali) life is in danger from the Mumbai underworld led by some goons and he is out to track them down. Moosa has a lover Meenu (Bhavana) who is a Gujarati fashion designer.

ctor Antony have copied scenes from many hollywood flicks even he tries Dileep in Spiderman and Superman costumes to attract kids. Even though it doesn't look original in story or comedy, C.I.D Moosa has all the ingredients for the kids. It has has taken a record initial in Box office and looks like another superhit for Dileep.

The supporting cast include Cochin Haneefa, Murali, Sharat Saxena, Asish Vidyarthi, Vijayaraghavan, Cochin Haneefa, Bindu Panikkar and Harisri Asokan. The lyrics of Girish Puthencherry are tuned by Vidyasagar. Salu George is the cinematographer and the film is directed by debutant Johnny.
