'The Killer' director duo of Raksha Mistry and Hasnain Hyderabadwala are back again. This time with 'The Train' this is inspired by the Clive Owen, Jennifer Aniston starrier 'Derailed'.

Vishal (Emraan Hashmi) is working in Bangkok as an advertisement executive. He is married to Anjali (Sayali Bhagat) and has a cute little daughter Nikki. Vishal and Anjali are trying their level best to save their marriage. Vishal is under a lot of pressure both at home and at work.

One fine day on his way to work on the train, he meets Roma Kapoor (Geeta Basra). Its almost love at first sight. Soon Vishal gets to know that even Roma is trapped in an unhappy marriage. Their unfortunate circumstances lead them to empathize with each other, which ultimately leads to an adulterous affair. Back home, Anjali gets suspicious because of Vishal's unusual behavior. Just when things could not get any worse, Vishal realizes his secret is known to an unknown stranger. What follows is an edge of the seat thriller which is worth a watch.

Direction: Raksha Mistry and Hasnain Hyderabadwala, the director duo have handled the fast paced movie brilliantly. They deserve distinction points for not allowing the movie to stagnate. The music by Mithoon is very good. The cinematography is top class too. The locales of Bangkok have been shot pretty stylishly.

Acting: Emraan Hashmi - After a few forgettable movies is good once again. He carries the movie on his shoulders. Emraan Hashmi fans (he has a pretty decent fan following in the interiors) should love this performance of his. In short he is back on track.

Geeta Basra looks awesome and delivers a wonderful performance. Sayali Bhagat hams in a few scenes, but overall is competent. The rest of the supporting cast is pretty good.

Overall: 'The Train' is quite an entertaining flick. Good performances by the lead actors. Some good music, screenplay and direction. Although about 5 minutes, especially in the second half, can be chopped off from the movie for better impact.

Box office Prediction: The movie should do decent business at the multiplexes. Strong word of mouth should help the movie. Above Average to Hit is my prediction for 'The Train'.

Rating - 3 / 5 (Worth a watch)
