'Munnariyippu' to Chicago Film Festival

Mammootty's 'Munnariyippu' is selected to be showcased in the Chicago Film Festival to be held from September 18-21.


The Festival is organized by South Asian Arts Council. 15 films are selected for the 5th South Asian Chicago Film Festival.


Venu's 'Munnariyippu' is a critically acclaimed movie and the highlight of the movie is the good performance by both Mammootty and Aparna Gopinath.


Mammootty plays Raghavan, an ex-convict and Aparna pays a journalist who arrives to reveal the truth behind Raghavan's life story.


Renji Panicker, Joy Mathew, Nedumudi Venu, P Balachandran, and Kochupreman are also seen in important roles. 'Munnariyippu' is produced by director Ranjith under the banner of Gold Coin Motion Pictures. The cinematography was done by director Venu himself.
