Murali Ram replaced Vijay Sethupathi

Thoppi an upcoming film that stars popular television anchor Murali Ram and Rakshaya Raj as the lead pair. The film is directed by Yureka of Madurai Sambavam Fame. Paramaj has produced the film for Royal Screens and the film is being released by Nimo productions K.Balu.

The audio and trailer of the film was recently released with the presence of directors GN Rangarajan, SP Muthuraman, actors Vijay Sethupathi, Vemal, Singampuli and the newly elected members of the Producer Council.

Cinematographer Sukumar of Mynaa, Kumki and Maan Karate fame is wielding the lens. Ram Prasad Sundar is debuting as music director. Trailer of the film and visuals of three songs were released. It was revealed at the event that Vijay Sethupathi was chosen to do the role earlier but due to non availability of his dates, Murali Ram was brought on board.
