Mysskin acquires Kallappadam

Established directors helping their assistants in their debut films have become a trend and also a noble gesture. Director Shankar recently released his student Karthik Krish’s Kappal. Trade pundits felt that this had given a huge booster to the film.

Following the footsteps of Shankar, director Mysskin basking under the glorious success of his recent release Pisaasu has acquired the theatrical rights of Kallappadam directed by his assistant Vadivel.

Director Mysskin on acquiring Kallappadam says, “I saw Kallappadam and needless to say I was impressed. This film will go a long way in enhancing the quality of films. I am proud to declare Vadivel as my principle assistant and endorse his film making ability by acquiring the theatrical rights of the film.
