Nadigar Sangam protests for Jallikattu

While the protests to revoke the ban on Jallikattu is happening all over Tamil Nadu and also from Tamils all over the world, Nadigar Sangam held their protest march at their building in Habibullah Road, T Nagar, Chennai, yesterday on the 20th January.

The event was attended by Superstar Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Ajith, Vishal, Nasser, Ponvannan, Suriya, Jiiva, Sivakumar, Karthi, Sivakarthikeyan, Dhanush, Vikram Prabhu, Prabhu, SJ Suryah, Lissy Priyadarshan, Bhagyaraj and Poornima Bhagyaraj, Suhasini and many others.

However the event was marked by the conspicuous absence of Vijay who had reportedly met the protesters at Marina Beach, later in the night. Vishal had apparently mentioned at the end of the meet that they are considering asking the film fraternity to stay off social media to avoid many problems.
