Narendra Modi chooses Kamal Haasan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, among his many projects to spruce and clean up the nation, has began an actual clean-up campaign of the country called Swacha Bharath or Clean India. In this mission of his, he has invited Kamal Haasan among other celebrities as a part of challenge. This campaign started on the 2nd of October on the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi.

The other celebrities who were tagged in this mission are Sachin Tendulkar, Priyanka Chopra, Salman Khan, Anil Ambani to name some.

Kamal Haasan while thanking the PM for the invitation accepted it and has issued a video that said, “I thank our honorable PM for naming me among this list. I don’t think it’s a new duty I’ve been appointed but it’s a recognition of what I’ve already been doing. I invite nine million more people,” He also added, “I have been doing this cleaning for the last two decades through my fans who have converted the fan clubs into social service organizations. My work continues and this is not a public relations exercise. It’s a public work I’m part of”.
