Nasser to be conferred the doctorate

Actor Nasser is a talented character artist who can essay any kind of roles. From being a villain in Devar Magan to an outright comedian in Avvai Shanmugi to a character artist in Avatharam, the actor has done it all. The mere mention of Nasser in the cast list clearly tells about the quality of a film. He is also the President of the recently elected Nadigar Sangam.

Now Vel’s University is going to honor this veteran with an honoris causa or a doctorate degree. The function will be held at the University premises on the 7th of May.

There are many artists in Tamil film industry who have been conferred upon an honorary doctorate degree like the late MG Ramachandran, Kamal Haasan, Vikram and Vijay to name some. Congratulations to Nasser!
