National Awards: Fahad Fazil Best Supporting Actor

Malayalam Cinema hogged the limelight in the 65th National Film Awards, which were announced in New Delhi on Friday. Actor Fahad Fazil won the Best Supporting Actor award for Dileesh Pothen-directed “Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum.”

Jayaraj won the Best Director and the Best Adapted Screenplay awards for the film “Bhayanakam.” Actress Parvathy got Special Jury Mention Award for the film “Take Off.” Sajeev Pazhoor is the Best Scenarist for the film ““Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum.”

Assamese film “Village Rock Star” is the Best Film.
