Nawazuddin Siddiqui teams up with Vishal Bhardwaj

Vishal Bhardwaj’s last release ‘Rangoon’, a love story set in the backdrop of war may have failed to create any stir at the box office, but one can’t take away the fact that Bhardwaj’s is a great filmmaker and has an eye for spotting new talents.

It is reported that the director-producer now wants to focus on his home production and want to make some more interesting films. He is already launching one of his assistant director Honey Trehan as a director with a film based on mafia queen Rahima Khan, starring Deepika Padukone as the protagonist along with Irrfan Khan.

Now we hear that the filmmaker will also be backing another of his assistant - Aditya Nimbalkar, who has assisted Bhardwaj in films like Kaminey, Haider and Rangoon, for his forthcoming untitled venture, which is said to be a comedy drama.

It is learnt that Aditya Nimbalkar has been working on the script for quite some time now and has even met Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who was last seen in Babumoshai Bandookbaaz to discuss the film and supposedly Nawaz has really liked the script.

What’s more, rumor mills are abuzz that Kriti Sanon will be cast opposite Nawaz. Well, that is going to be one interesting casting and we look forward to it.
