New legal trouble for Anjali

Actress Anjali has been going through a rough patch in her personal life. Anjali's step mother Bharathi Devi had filed a habeas corpus petition in the Madras High Court and the Court has dismissed it recently after hearing to Anjali’s version.

Now, Bharathi Devi has filed a petition seeking Rs 50,000 per month as maintenance from the actress. Bharathi Devi has filed the petition in the Chennai family court saying that she has incurred huge expenditure in raising and grooming Anjali to become an actress. As the actress has started living separately, Bharathi Devi had asked for the maintenance. The Court will hear the petition on August 14.
