Mumbai, Oct 9 (IANS) Buoyed by Emraan Hashmi's box office success, Aditya Pancholi hopes that forthcoming film "Rush", in which Emraan plays a villian, benefits from the actor's recent success.

"Emraan is going through a dream run and hopefully it stays forever. I also hope his golden run rubs off on this film as well," the 47-year-old said here Monday at the first look launch of the film.

Emraan's recent hit films include "Raaz 3", "Jannat 2", and "The Dirty Picture" and critically acclaimed "Shanghai".

Meanwhile, Aditya is emotinally attached to the film because of its director Shamin Desai, who died before he could complete his first directorial venture.

"I have a lot of emotions attached to the film. I have been in the industry for 25 years but have never been so emotionally connected to any film. It is because of our director Shamin Desai. He made us look so good - Emraan and all the girls. I pray to god he is happy, wherever he is," Aditya said.

Shamin died in Jan 2011 after announcing his maiden directorial venture in 2010, originally titled "Raftaar 24x7".

His wife Priyanka Desai re-launched the film in Oct 2011 as "Rush". Based in the media industry, the film hits theatres this Dusshera, Oct 24.
