Aftab signs his first horror movie

New Delhi, Aug 21 (IANS) After doing comedies, thrillers and dramas, actor Aftab Shivdasani, who was last seen in "Bin Bulaye Baraati", now wants to try his hand at horror with "1920-Evil Returns", a sequel to Vikarm Bhatt's "1920".


Aftab, who did murder thriller "Kasoor" and comedy "Awara Paagal Deewana" with the Bhatt, says "1920-Evil returns" is his first horror project.


"The movie which is titled "1920-Evil returns".. It's also my first ever horror film so really excited about this one. And it will be directed by the very talented Bhushan Patel, an ace cinematographer who has a large body of work behind him," the 33-year-old tweeted.


This is Aftab's ninth film with Bhatt and talking about his long association with the director, Aftab said: "Someone (Bhatt) I've learnt from as an actor and more importantly as a human being...someone I've done the maximum films so far - 8!"


"And now, I'm elated to announce that we are just about to do our 9th film together - the sequel to his '1920'," he posted on Twitter.


The shooting will kick off Oct 1 in Sweden.


"Non-stop shoot begins on 1st oct in Sweden and is slated to release in feb 2012..need good wishes from all, amen. Thank u all, working extensively to get the look right as it's a period film set in 1920! References are welcome," Aftab further posted.
