Mumbai, July 11 (IANS) After "Mission Istanbul", director Apoorva Lakhia is on mission impossible - he plans to make a gangster film without any violence in it.

"We've seen enough gangsters shooting at one another, killing, maiming and running from the law," Lakhia told IANS.

"My next film, to be produced by Sohail Maklai, is about the inner world of the two families from the underworld, their family life and emotions. It would be a gangster film without violence," he added.

Lakhia will again collaborate with journalist-screenwriter Suresh Nair on the script. "Being a journalist, Suresh's spadework is amazing. I've done all my scripts in collaboration with Suresh."

In addition to this gangster film, Lakhia is also committed to making a film for Ekta Kapoor.

"It will star a pair that will emerge from the reality show that she's doing from next month. It will feature Sanjay Dutt in the lead, plus Zayed Khan, Tusshar Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, etc.," Lakhia said.

But at the moment Lakhia, who hit the jackpot with "Shootout At Lokhandwala", is looking only at "Mission Istanbul" that is releasing Friday.

"It has turned out to be bigger than we expected. I don't want to make any tall claims. I just want to do my work quietly."
