Mumbai, Aug 19 (IANS) The Emraan Hashmi-Ashmit Patel pair, last seen in Mahesh Bhatt's "Murder", will be seen once again in Aditya Datt's forthcoming film "Dil Diya Hai".

"We will be recreating a similar magic in the film like we did in 'Murder'. In fact, it is sad that we never got a chance to come together in the intervening period," said Ashmit.

"Dil Diya Hai" will see Ashmit as a London-based nightclub owner who is involved in shady and underhand dealings, reports Bollywood Trade.

"It is a love triangle in which I play an out and out grey character. Needless to add, I enjoyed playing the role."

Interestingly, Ashmit was to be cast in Datt's directorial debut "Aashiq Banaya Apne", but he couldn't because of the date problems.

"I have been eagerly looking forward to working with Aditya ever since. Moreover, we have known each other for years. We worked together as assistants to Mahesh Bhatt at one point of time."

He is not worried about being overshadowed by Emraan who walked away with all the attention in "Murder".

"I don't see any cause for worry. Emraan is a great friend apart from being a co-star and he has been lucky with the songs in all his films. But success apart, the two of us share a great rapport on and off screen."
