'Bidee' on top of music charts again

New Delhi, Aug 27 (IANS) The sizzling "Bidee" number from Vishal Bhardwaj's "Omkara" continues its reign at top spot this week too. One new song, "Kya mujhe pyaar hai", has made its way to the list.


The top 10 Hindi film songs of the week are:


1. "Bidee" - Film: "Omkara"; Singers: Sunidhi Chauhan, Sukhwinder Singh; Music: Vishal Bhardwaj. This rustic item number has hit the right chord with music lovers and seems it is here to stay for long.


2. "Aap ki khatir" - Film: "Aap Ki Khatir"; Singer: Himesh Reshammiya; Music: Himesh Reshammiya. The film, which opened this week, didn't receive encouraging reviews, but the song is doing well. It took a big leap and landed on number two from nine.


3. "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna" - Film: "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna"; Singers: Alka Yagnik and Sonu Nigam; Music: Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The critics have panned the film and the song is constantly sliding down on the chart.


4. "Ya Ali" - Film: "Gangster - A Love Story"; Singer: Zubeen; Music: Pritam. A hit Sufi song among listeners has returned to the charts this week to enthral music lovers.


5. "Kya mujhe pyaar hai" - Film: "Woh Lamhe"; Singer: K.K.; Music: Pritam. Pritam has beautifully composed Neelesh Misra's lyrics, which are fresh and poetic, into an enjoyable song.


6. "Chand sifarish" - Film: "Fanaa"; Singers: Shaan and Kailash Kher; Music: Jatin-Lalit. A naughty and romantic number that remained on top of the charts for months has now entrenched itself permanently on number six position.


7. "Ek kahani" - Film: "Krrish"; Singer: Kunal Ganjawala; Music: Rajesh Roshan. The album was not an instant hit but the success of the film has increased its sale and the song has grabbed more attention.


8. "Ishq kiya"- Film: "Anthony Kaun Hai"; Singers: Sunidhi Chauhan, Himesh Reshammiya; Music: Himesh Reshammiya. Inspired by Arabian music, the spicy number is steadily progressing up the charts.


9. "Pal pal har pal" - Film: "Lage Raho Munna Bhai"; Singer - Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal; Music: Shantanu Moitra. One of the best songs of the album, this melodious number is different from other love songs and sets the right mood.


10. "Golmaal" - Film: "Golmaal - Fun Unlimited"; Singers: Anushka Manchandani, Vishal Dadlani; Music: Vishal-Shekhar. This youthful song with a funky tune got a jolt this week and has been pushed to the last slot from number four.
