Mumbai, Nov 26 (IANS) The legendary Amitabh Bachchan will soon be seen as a cool, dude-like god in writer-turned-director Rumi Jaffrey's new film "God, Tussi Great Ho".

"Big B plays a spunky, funny, doughty and dude-like god, not your average god-in-costume but a very funky character, who has this on-going dialogue on life with Salman (Khan)," said well informed sources.

"In fact, all of Bachchan saab's scenes are with Salman, an actor he really enjoys working with after 'Baghban' and 'Baabul'. In both the movies they shared screen space as father and son. In the new flick, they've a far funnier and much more easy-going rapport."

The 65-year-old actor, often referred to as Big B, is expected to complete his role by the end of this year.

Brushing off all illusions of grandeur, Big B said, "It's just a role, albeit with a fantasy element that's fun to do. And working with Salman is always enjoyable."

Incidentally, Bachchan was expected to play Dashrath in Sanjay Khan's large-screen interpretation of the epic Ramayana two years ago. He plays a ghost in Ravi Chopra's new production "Bhootnath".

Other actors in the industry who have played the role of god on screen are Jeetendra and Jaya Prada as Rama and Sita in "Luv Kush", and Sanjay Dutt as Yamaraj in "Life Ho To Aisi".

Recently, actor Ajay Devgan has been roped to play Rama in Rajkumar Santoshi's "Ramayan".
