'Chand sifarish' still going strong

New Delhi, June 23 (IANS) "Mujhko yaad sataye teri" from "Phir Hera Pheri", which entered the audio chart last week, is enthralling music lovers but "Chand sifarish" is still on top.

The top 10 Hindi film songs are:

1. "Chand sifarish" - Film: "Fanaa"; Singers: Shaan and Kailash Kher; Music: Jatin-Lalit. The song, a mixture of Arabic and Indian music, is the hot favourite of music buffs.

2. "Mujhko yaad sataye teri" - Film: "Phir Hera Pheri"; Singer: Himesh Reshammiya; Music: Himesh Reshammiya. One of the best songs of the movie, "Mujhko yaad sataye teri", is well picturised and choreographed. Akshay Kumar and Rimi Sen look quite sensational in it.

3. "Ya Ali" - Film: "Gangster - A Love Story"; Singer: Zubeen; Music: Pritam. Sufi songs are a rage these days and this one also tops the listeners' favourite list.

4. "Pyaar ki ek kahani" - Film: "Krrish"; Singers: Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal; Music: Rajesh Roshan. The album was not an instant hit and this week it has slipped down on the chart.

5. "Jhoom jhoom" - Film: "Tom, Dick And Harry"; Singer: Himesh Reshammiya; Music: Himesh Reshammiya. People are still enjoying this feel-good song crooned by Reshammiya, which shows that his songs have staying power.

6. "Shabe firaq" - Film: "Chup Chup Ke"; Singers: Himesh Reshammiya, Tulsi Kumar; Music: Himesh Reshammiya. The song is popular among the classes and the masses.

7. "Aashiqui meri" - Film: "36 China Town"; Singers: Himesh Reshammiya, Sunidhi Chauhan; Music: Himesh Reshammiya. After remaining in the top five for weeks, the fast number is now fading out.

8 "It's a beautiful day" - Film: "Aryan"; Singers: Shreya Ghoshal and Hamza; Music: Anand Raj Anand. A sentimental romantic song for lovebirds!

9. "Roobaroo" - Film: "Rang De Basanti"; Singers: A.R. Rahman and Naresh Iyer; Music: A.R. Rahman. Aamir Khan fans are still enjoying the Indi-pop composition.

10. "Fanah" - Film: "Humko Deewana Kar Gaye"; Singers: Sonu Nigam, Tulsi Kumar; Music: Anu Malik. The film bombed but the song's popularity is keeping it in the news.
