Esha Deol teaches mom to ride scootie

Mumbai, Nov 4 (IANS) It was a girls' day out in Goa as Esha Deol turned a year older. She took to the road on a scootie and taught her mom Hema Malini to ride the two-wheeler too!

"I taught her how to ride the scootie. Ahana and me, we both know how to ride a scooter. But mom didn't," Esha, who was recently seen in "Hijack", told IANS.

To ring in her birthday Nov 2, Esha invited her mom and sister Ahana to Goa where she is shooting for Shivum Nair's "Exchange Offer". In the mood for fun, Hema let herself go on her daughter's birthday.

"Both my daughters know how to ride the scootie. I didn't. It was great fun. I'm rediscovering my childhood with my daughters," Hema said.

Esha added: "It was just the three girls, me, Mom and my sister. By some sad coincidence I'm shooting for almost all my birthdays. I shot the whole night on Nov 1. But I did cut a cake on the sets."

Having her mom and sister over was the best birthday gift Esha could hope for.

As for dad Dharmendra, he called.

"He phoned to wish me. And he sent me a very nice watch that mom and he have gifted me jointly. It's a very sporty watch. The small jewellery watches tend to get lost on my wrist. So I specifically told my parents what I want. Better to be clear beforehand than to go wrong with the gift, no?"
