It was too early to screen 'Jaan-E-Mann': Nadiadwala

Oct 12, 2006 IANS

Sajid Nadiadwala didn't screen his big budgeted multi-starrer "Jaan-E-Mann" at the closing ceremony of the South Asian International Film Festival (SAIFF) because he thought it was too early to unveil the film.

Earlier there was talk of the film being showcased at the prestigious festival on Oct 8. It was mutually decided not to go ahead with the screening because the film officially releases only on Oct 20.

"It's true we wanted to screen the film at the prestigious SAIFF, but we decided against it. It will only be fair if everyone gets to see the film on the worldwide release date," said Nadiadwala.

This triangular love story stars Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta.

In its place Ajmal Zaheer Ahmed's "It's a Mismatch", a romantic comedy starring Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Anubhav Anand and Nandana Sen, was shown.
