New Delhi, Nov 16 (IANS) Dibakar Banerjee's comedy "Khosla Ka Ghosla" is all set to woo film buffs in Pakistan as it has been chosen for the Kara Film Festival in Karachi starting Dec 7.

The film, starring Anupam Kher and Parveen Dabas, revolves around a Delhi-based middle class family who buys a plot in a posh locality to build a dream house but ends up becoming a victim of the mafia.

Produced by UTV, "Khosla Ka Ghosla" was shot within 45 days and received critical acclaim at the recent Cannes Film Festival.

The movie also features Ranvir Shorey, Tara Sharma, Vinay Pathak and Naveen Nischol.

"The film is a simple story that immediately connects with the human heart thus breaking all physical boundaries. We are hopeful that the film creates the same magic it did with the Indian audiences at the festival," said Ronnie Screwvala of UTV.
