Background score specialists Salim and Sulaiman Merchant are geared up for the release of their next big release, "Krrish", one of the most anticipated films of the year.

The music of the film has not clicked in a big way but the background score is one of the best in recent times, reports Bollywood Trade.

"I wouldn't know Rakesh Roshan's reasons for taking us but I am glad he did because it gave us a new creative high. It was an incredible experience no doubt," said Sulaiman Merchant.

"It is a new age film with the concept of a super hero and it required a very different sound," he added.

The composer duo were given sufficient time to work on the sound of the film.

"Most background scores are done at the last minute when the makers are close to starting the final mixing but in this case we had the film with us for one and a half months. Moreover, this time we had the opportunity of working on a programmed score for the film. We created mock-up tracks and programmed the music to the smallest detail," said Salim and Sulaiman.

The real excitement, however, came when they went to Prague to record with a live 70-piece orchestra.
