Kolkata, Feb 11 (IANS) As uncertainty clouds the release of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's "My Name is Khan" in Mumbai, the film is receiving good response in terms of ticket sales in Kolkata and other parts of West Bengal.

"Almost all tickets for the weekend are sold out," said Srijita Chatterjee, assitant Manager, corporate communications of INOX Leisure Ltd.

"It is releasing in all INOX-Forum multiplexes Friday," Chatterjee told IANS.

She said the movie is slated for up to 15-16 shows daily in the four multiplexes of the group in the city and three others in the districts. The story is the same in two Fame multiplexes at South City and Hiland Park.

According to industry sources, a section of cinema hall and multiplex owners in Mumbai have decided not to screen the movie on grounds of security in view of the threats from the Shiv Sena.

The Shiv Sena has come out against the release of "My Name is Khan" after Shah Rukh refused to apologise for suggesting that Pakistani cricketers should have been picked for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL). Click the Movie button below for more info:
