Nandana Sen upset over media reports

Actress Nandana Sen is appalled over recent media reports that she was upset about being sidelined from the pre-release campaign of Ram Gopal Varma's "My Wife's Murder.

"I am surprised a lot of people are asking me this question since I have no grudge whatsoever about the publicity campaign of the film. My job was to perform well which I did. After that it is the prerogative of the maker how he chooses to promote the film," Sen reveals, According to Sen, she never expected to be featured prominently in the publicity of the film.

"It was very clear from the outset that the film revolved around Anil Kapoor. Though I had the second best role in it, the makers probably wanted to pitch it as an Anil Kapoor film and there was nothing wrong about it. I am definitely not so insecure to get upset by such frivolous issues," she adds.

Sen is currently busy with the release of her next international film, "The War Within".

"The film has been selected as the official entry for the Toronto film festival to be held in September and I have been invited. I am really excited about it."

"The War Within" explores terrorism in New York post 9/11 and has Sen playing the role of a Muslim-American girl who is opposed to religious fanaticism.
