No fanfare at Sohail's birthday in South Africa

Mumbai, Dec 23 (IANS) Bollywood actor Sohail Khan, who is currently in South Africa shooting for Rumi Jaffrey's comedy "God, Tussi Great Ho" with brother Salman, didn't bring in his birthday with much fanfare.

"And with good reason. We were shooting till 8 p.m. on the previous day on the scorching beach. We were all tanned and tired. Rather than celebrating it with the crew, I wanted a good night's sleep because my wife and son flew in for my birthday. I didn't want to lose out on my energy level when they were around," said Sohail, who turned 36 Dec 20.

"And if you think I don't really look 36, then you should read all those reviews in Mumbai for my latest film 'Aryan - The Unbreakable', which want to know why I'm shown running around college corridors at my age," Sohail told IANS over the phone from South Africa.

Sohail is having a ball shooting for Jaffrey's comedy in South Africa.

"If you thought I was comic-strip funny in my last comedy 'Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya' with my brother, this time I'm even wackier. I like to go the whole hog in whatever I do."
