No TV this year: Akshay Kumar

May 26, 2012 IANS

Jaipur, May 26 (IANS) Actor Akshay Kumar, who will soon be seen in his action avatar in "Rowdy Rathore", says he is totally focused on Bollywood for now and will not be able to devote time to the small screen.

"I want to focus on Bollywood projects this year, so no small screen for me at least for the next one and a half-years. My upcoming projects are taking all my time," Akshay told IANS.

The 44-year-old, who was seen playing the host for TV reality shows like "Masterchef India" and "Khatron Ke Khiladi" was here Saturday as part of the ongoing Rajasthan Fashion Week (RJW). He was here with his co-actress Sonakshi Sinha to launch the exclusive Rowdy collection.

Both the actors were dressed as their respective characters from the film. Akshay is confident the collection will find several takers.

"The collection is very promising with lot of colours. It has a lot of Indianness attached to it. I think the Indian factor in the collection is the USP and this is the reason why I like Sonakshi as well.

"She looks very much right wearing Indian clothes. I admire her for doing that instead of following the trend," he added.

"Rowdy Rathore", directed by Prabhu Deva, is set to release June 1.
