Om Puri's home burgled

Mumbai, July 10 (IANS) Bollywood actor Om Puri Saturday lodged a police complaint saying that his Andheri flat was robbed of Rs.100,000 in cash and jewellery worth Rs.90,000.


The First Information Report (FIR) was lodged at Versova police station, a police official said.


"Om Puri has reported about the robbery. The house was locked at night. But in the morning, they found the lock was broken and the house ransacked," the official told IANS.


"He has claimed that cash of Rs.100,000 and jewellery worth Rs.90,000 has been stolen," he added.


The versatile actor has two houses in Mumbai. This flat was being used as a store room.
