Payal Rohtagi's quiet New Year

New Delhi, Jan 2 (IANS) While most Bollywood stars welcomed the New Year by partying all night long, actress Payal Rohtagi preferred to stay at home and spend time with her mother.

"I just wanted to spend time with my close ones. Anyways we are socialising throughout the year due to our profession. It felt good to be sane on the first day of the year and not get manipulated to party," said Payal who welcomed the New Year in Ahmedabad.

"Also it felt great visiting the gurudwara. With the hymns being recited, it just was so meaningful. Just wanted to get rid of all the negativity that has been surrounding me since a while now," she said in press statement.
