Post marriage, Tara Sharma has many films in kitty

Mumbai, Aug 3 (IANS) Actress Tara Sharma, who was missing from the silver screen after her marriage to beau Roopak Saluja, promises to be back with a bang with a variety of films.


"I have kept away since my wedding but now I have quite a handful of good films to do," Tara told IANS.


Having worked in films like "Masti" and "Page 3", the actress will soon be seen in a movie by Bengali director Rituparno Ghosh, Shri Ashtavinayak's "Maharathi", Maverick Productions' "Dulha Mil Gaya", "Ye Fassa" and an English film titled "Other End of Life".


"I think I have really good films in hand. Now I want to work with Aamir Khan's production house," she said.


Apart from these, her films "The Whisperers" and "Mumbai Cutting" were screened at the Osian's-Cinefan film festival held last month. While Rahul Bose is her co-star in "The Whisperers", "Mumbai Cuting" is actually a mix of several short films.


Tara is also set to get pregnant on screen. She plays a single mother in a film titled "Suno Na".


Her film "Maharathi" is slated for an Aug 22 release. It is a suspense thriller and boasts of a star cast that includes Paresh Rawal, Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri and Boman Irani.
