Priyadarshan busy as bee, thanks to new projects

Mumbai, Aug 30 (IANS) Award winning director Priyadarshan's hands are full. His comedy "Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal" has yet to hit screens, and he is already focusing on two new projects - one with Akshay Kumar and another is with newcomers, which is said to be titled "Rangrez".


"I will be doing a film in the mid of next year with Akshay. It will be a commercial genre," Priyadarshan told IANS. This will be the actor-director's seventh film together after "Hera Pheri", "Garam Masala", "Bhagam Bhag", "Bhool Bhulaiyaa", "De Dana Dan" and "Katta Meetha".


"Rangrez" will star Jackky Bhagnani, Priya Anand and newcomers.


Talking about the script, he said: "My next film is with new boys. It's a film about youngsters. It's about their life before their jobs," he said adding that working with freshers is challenging.


"It's challenging. New boys, new expression and new way of acting. I share my experience in acting with them and I learn something from them," added the filmmaker.


Priyadarshan's "Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal", a laughter riot, stars Nana Patekar, Shreyas Talpade, Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav and it is coming out Sep 28.
