Rajinikanth To Play Chitti In SRK's Ra.One

Shah Rukh Khan's Ra.One is turning out to be one of the biggest films this year. Not only the film is re-defining film promotion strategy it even has a huge offering for the audience. It is learnt that South Superstar Rajinikanth is making a guest appearance in the film and will be seen in a very funny and interesting sequence. Confirming the news Shah Rukh revealed, 'It's been so overwhelming for us to have Rajini Sir shooting for us. We were so overwhelmed by his presence that our shooting's organisation went haywire owing to which Rajini Sir's daughter Soundarya had to step in and manage the entire shoot for that sequence.'

On being prodded just a little bit more SRK willingly divulged the details of his sequence with Rajinikanth, 'Oh, it's a funny sequence where I am trying to save Sonia (Kareena Kapoor) in the film from all the goons and suddenly Chitti the Robot comes to save Kareena. I ask Sonia who this person is and the way Sonia reacts to this question is extremely funny and interesting.'

Not just that, the actor also revealed that his character in the film is completely influenced by Rajinikanth. 'If you see my dance in Chammak Challo, there are some steps that are influenced by Rajini Sir and even a lot of things that G.One does in the film are taken off from Rajinikanth,' says Shah Rukh.
