Ranbir denies replacing SRK in Hirani's film

Mumbai, Nov 14 (IANS) Stories that he has replaced Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in Raj Kumar Hirani's next film has "Saawariya" star Ranbir Kapoor completely puzzled.

After giving two blockbusters, "Munnabhai M.B.B.S" and "Lage Raho Munna Bhai", Hirani is working on his next film.

Ranbir told IANS: "Forget about replacing Shah Rukh, I can't do that in this lifetime. I haven't even met Mr. Hirani. I don't know who started this rumour, or where it's coming from. Of course, I'd love to work with Raj Kumar Hirani. After 'Munnabhai' who wouldn't? But first there has to be an offer, no?"

Ranbir's next project is a Yash Raj film. Contrary to the moony-eyed devoted Devdas in "Saawariya", Ranbir plays a guy with a roving eye in his next film for Yash Raj Films, which goes on floors later this month.

Though Ranbir refuses to talk about it, his co-stars Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone are in preparation for the start-to-finish shooting.
