Riteish Deshmukh proud of 'Cash'

Mumbai, Nov 27 (IANS) Riteish Deshmukh, who is known for his perfect comic timing on screen, is happy with his first action film "Cash" even though it didn't do well at the box office.

"The kind of action that we got to see in 'Cash' was never seen before. Me, Ajay Devgan, Zayed Khan, Suniel Shetty, Shamita Shetty, Diya Mirza and Esha Deol had a whale of time. We didn't even realise when the shooting got over," said Riteish.

For him, acting in buddy Sajid Khan's unusual comedy "Heyy Babyy" was great fun. "I didn't do 'Heyy Babyy' only because it was made by a dear friend. It's a film I'd have liked to do even otherwise. There was a baby and three men. The child was the star in 'Heyy Babyy'," he said.

Riteish, who will now be seen playing as a genie for Sujoy Ghosh's "Aladdin", isn't in a hurry to sign more movies. "I'm taking it easy. I've a handful of films that I am happy with. 'Cash' proved I could do action. After 'Golmaal' no comedy has come. Hopefully audiences are ready for another one."

He is giving some attention to his other career as an architect. "I leave my architecture company's running in the hands of a very efficient team while I focus on my acting," Riteish said.
