Riya Sen is Ramu's new muse?

Mumbai, July 8 (IANS) The diminutive, peppery Riya Sen has caught star-discoverer Ram Gopal Varma's attention and will feature in an item song in Varma's "James".

"James" will launch Mohit Ahlawat as the new flavour at Varma's Factory. Riya is Bengali actress Moon Moon Sen's younger daughter.

The Sen gal had become the talk of the town after an MMS allegedly featuring her with Ashmit Patel had done the rounds. But refuge in the Varma stable can certainly ring pleasant bells for Riya.

"I saw Riya in a music video with Jackie Shroff and she immediately caught my attention. There's something very appealing about her on screen. I was on the lookout for the right girl to do an item song for the credit titles in 'James' and she fitted the bill," said RGV.

Will this augur a new beginning for Riya in Varma's production house?

"I haven't really offered her anything else. The deal right now is just for one song," Ramu said.

Considering the impact of Ramu's other finds - Isha Koppikar in "Company", Sameera Reddy in "Darna Manaa Hai", Koena Mitra in "Road" and Rukhsar in "D" - Riya can comfortably beam at some new light coming her way.
