Rohit Shetty's "Golmaal - Fun Unlimited" won laurels and regaled viewers with endless gags and pranks. And in this era when remakes and sequels are fast gaining momentum in Bollywood, Shetty's "Golmaal 2" does not come as a surprise.

However, it his next untitled venture starring Nana Patekar and Shahid Kapur that is making news lately. The film will be shot in New Zealand or Australia and will go on floors sometime in mid 2007, reports Bollywood Trade.

Ask him about the unusual casting and he laughs: "The Nana-Shahid pairing is going to be the film's USP. Everyone's talking about it. The script required this combination so we went ahead with it. The female lead is yet to be finalised."

Produced by Ramesh Sippy, the film is a lighthearted comedy targeted at the family audience.

"Both Nana and Shahid are great actors and I'm sure they'll gel well. Nana is very excited about the role since he has not done something like this before. It's a cute character and not typically Nana. Even Shahid fits the bill perfectly."
