Mumbai, June 22 (IANS) Music composer and singer Shankar Mahadevan, who accompanied actor Boman Irani on the Teacher's Origin Highnights five-city tour, is overwhelmed to see the latter's talent in music and wants to rope him in for his upcoming projects.

"After hearing him sing like this, I will definitely consider him for my projects. It's a privilege to know him. There are very few truly talented people in this country and Boman Irani is one of them. At any given instance, I would love to associate with him," Mahadevan told IANS.

After making a mark in Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai, the duo is set to perform in Kolkata Wednesday and Bangalore on July 2.

For the event, they conceptualized a song which is a combination of an English track and hit "Kal Ho Na Ho" (2003) title track, composed by Mahadevan.

"We have conceptualized a song and have performed in three cities. The response has been fantastic. We have it at the back of our head that we have to record this song asap. It's a combination of two wonderful songs. As soon as this busy man (Boman) is free, we will definitely record the song," said Mahadevan.

Asked how this five-city tour together triggered, he said: "This was conceptualised by Wizcraft. They brought us together and gave us this concept. I was very scared because it was only me and Boman... it was something new, but then Boman pulled it off."
