New Delhi, Aug 7 (IANS) Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar says his romantic comedy "Singh is Kinng" that releases Friday is for his grandparents.

"It is an entertaining film and I have made it for my grandmother and my grandfather. The film is about positive attitude - that is the USP of the film. I am eager to take them to watch the film," Akshay told the media here Thursday.

Akshay was in the capital to negotiate with the leaders of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) who had objected to his film saying it offended their religious sentiments.

The film however got a green signal after a 50-minute meeting with the Sikh leaders.

Directed by Aneez Bazmi, the movie is a romantic comedy about a troublesome do-gooder who overcomes all odds with his positive attitude. Akshay teams up with Katrina Kaif in the film. The duo churned out two hits last year - "Namastey London" and "Welcome".

Referring to the overwhelming response the movie has already fetched at the booking counter before its release, Akshay added: "We all are very happy with the movie. I am very excited about the film as it is my first home production."

Akshay launched his own production house, Hari Om Productions, early this year - named after his father.
