Snoop Dogg all set to take India by storm!

The name Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr. might not perhaps ring a bell to rap fans in India, but they sure know who Snoop Dogg is! The Grammy Award-nominated American rapper, record producer and actor now looks forward to a stint in Bollywood, where he makes a gala entry through the title track of 'Singh is Kinng'.

The hotshot video was shot a few months back in Chicago, when Snoop Dogg along with the film's hero Akshay Kumar had a blast coming up with a few real creative moves. Snoop even donned a traditional Indian costume for the shoot that included a turban and a rich sherwani.

The rapper is reported to have been awed by the manner in which music is ingrained in Indian movies. He apparently suggested that this would be just the beginning of a tremendously fruitful association with India, and hoped that he would soon travel across to the country with a few mega events that would include shows and perhaps even more tie-ups with Bollywood.

With cinema turning truly global, borders between the Bolly and Hollywoods have been fast vanishing. We have had an increasing number of Indian actors collaborating with Hollywood productions of late, and performers and technicians from the US landing up in India to team up with several biggie enterprises.

The Singh is Kinng title song that goes on for four minutes and fifty five seconds is already a rage in India. The soundtrack of the film that was released on June 8, has twelve peppy numbers that have been lapped up by music enthusiasts.

Singh is Kinng has Akshay Kumar pitted against Katrina Kaif, and a major portion of the film has been shot abroad in Australia. The film has been slated for an August 8 release. Click the Movie button below for more info:
