When Salman plays knight in shining armour

Notwithstanding the several cases against him and the image he has come to acquire, Salman Khan is known to be a hot favourite among his co-stars for the way he goes to their rescue, reports Bollywood Trade.

In Saawan Kumar's "Saawan-The Love Season", he played his role of a saviour, who rescues his co-star Salloni and won the confidence of everyone around. Recalls Salloni, "I still consider him as a saviour and god who rescued me in the introduction scene in the film, though he was only enacting that particular scene in the film."

According to her, the introduction where Salman saves her from an accident amidst a collusion of two cars was a very tricky one. "The scene was conceived by action director Tinnu Verma. I was aware that he was a veteran action director but I kept worrying what would happen if Salman delayed my rescue by a split second, since the collusion of cars was already timed for the scene. He probably sensed my apprehensions from the way he picked me up on the dot and carried me out of the danger zone," she recalls. Click the Movie button below for more info:
