Aspiring filmmakers shouldn't go to film school: Tarantino

London, May 24 (IANS) Quentin Tarantino, the acclaimed director of hits like "Pulp Fiction" and "Kill Bill", says aspiring filmmakers should not attend film school and instead use the money to make their own movie.

Contactmusic.com reports that at the Cinema Master Class at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival, Tarantino said: "Trying to make a feature film yourself with no money is the best film school you can go to."

He also went on to speak about why he uses previously released music from other movies and TV shows.

"I just don't trust any composer to do it. The idea of paying a guy and showing him your movie at the end - who the f*** is this guy coming in here and throwing his s*** over my movie. What if I don't like it? And the guy's already been paid," Tarantino said.
