New York, April 1 (IANS) Feminists are against the new Sharon Stone movie "Basic Instinct 2" not because of its depiction of violent sex but because Stone's character likes it rough.

In the movie Stone's character smiles even after nearly being drowned by David Morrisey's character in a hot tub, pagesix.com reported.

The group The Women Against Domestic Violence have already protested against actor Keanu Reeves comments saying that he learned something during filming a rape scene with Hilary Swank for "The Gift". He said, "that some of the ladies don't mind it . . . Hah, that's awful to say."

The group's spokesperson said that the remark made her ill and she added, "Why doesn't someone educate that man? Women do not want that, nor do they like it."
