Breslin creates swear box to raise money for charity

London, April 2 (IANS) "Little Miss Sunshine" star Abigail Breslin created a swear box on the set of her new film "Nim's Island" and gave the cash to the charity organisation called Royal Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals (RSPCA).

The 11-year-old was shocked by the way actor Gerard Butler swore and she got the idea to make the cast and crew pay $2 every timer they swore in front of her, contactmusic.com reports.

She said: "All together, with everybody contributing to the swear jar, we made $150 and we donated it to the RSPCA."

Butler was responsible for paying the most.

She added: "It built up to, like, $12 really quickly and then he said to me, 'I'm gonna give you $20, and the next four times that I swear I don't have to pay you. I get them for free'. I'm like, 'That's not the way it works'."
