Daniel Craig's 'funny' side up

London, Oct 7 (IANS) Seen as serious 007 agent in Bond movies, Daniel Craig had a tryst with comedy as a newly-anointed host of "Saturday Night Live".

Craig, in his latest television appearance, was willing to make fun of the fact that his films don't get many laughs. In a skit entitled "The Lesser-Known Bond Girls", the actor is seen with a deadpan expression as he is greeted by an exuberant actress mocking Lea Michele.

Nasim Pedrad, playing Glee character Rachel Berry, portrays the high school graduate on a mission to help James Bond input a code using the art of song and dance in "Hippopotopussy", reports dailymail.co.uk.

He then features in a section that makes fun of Penny Marshall.

The 44-year-old actor appeared in a number of sections where he went out of his comfort zone to play far less cool parts than that of his well-known famous spy role.

His next Bond film "Skyfall" is set to release here Oct 26.
