London, Jan 5 (IANS) Actress Rosario Dawson is scared her role in the new movie "Seven Pounds" will upset her ailing mother because she plays a dying woman in it.

Contactmusic.com reports that Dawson plays a character close to dying in "Seven Pounds", which also stars Will Smith. She is scared it is too close to real life as her mother has suffered form chronic asthma and diabetes for years.

She said: "Mom's health is something that I'm concerned with all the time and that makes me worry because I have zero control in that. I know this is going to be a very difficult movie for her to see and I was really thinking of her while I was doing this."

The movie, however, has made Dawson realise the value of good health.

She said: "I've always been aware of my health. At the moment I'm very healthy and it's not something I think about as strongly. I don't really have any terrible habits. I'm not a smoker or anything like that. It would be a shock to find out my health is in dire straits."
